Released MindApp 4.0 build 234.

Released MindApp 4.0 build 232.

January 2 2008

Released MindApp 4.0 build 227.

  • MindApp Viewer. After the trial period ends, it becomes a MindApp Viewer.

Released MindApp 3.0 build 183.

Improved the keyboard navigation and text selection in the Note panel.


June 28 2007

Released MindApp 3.0 build 182.

The following fixes were made:
  • Typing 'Insert' with a floating itembox selected caused a crash.
  • Copying browser text didn't copy the hyperlinks.
  • 'Delete' and 'Back Delete' on Notes deleted multiple characters.
  • Added email mini-dumps for better crash analysis.
  • Resizing images caused infrequent crashes.
  • Highlighting text immediately after selecting a word by bouble-clicking didn't work correctly.
  • The 'Left to Right' map layout (row 4 in the layout panel) didn't maintain the correct 1st level itembox ordering.
  • Inserting clipboard images didn't work on Vista systems.

Released MindApp 3.0 build 176.

  • Floating itemboxes for brainstorming.
  • Scalable images in the form of enhanced metafiles.

  • Fixed several bugs.



March 25 2007

Released MindApp 2.0 build 157.

  • Added word wrap to the Set Defaults command.
  • Fixed crash when one or both of a Relationship's Itemboxes is hidden.
  • Fixed a problem of not opening hidden Itemboxes (Goto Itmebox and hyperlinks).
  • Fixed a problem with blinking hilites and select frames when showing the Overview window.



Feb 16 2007

Added two new flash demos:

Released MindApp 2.0 build 149.

New features include:
  • Import/Export of XML files

    Maps can be exported to standard xml files. The structure and content of MindApp xml files are defined by the MindApp schema, MindApp.xsd. MindApp xml files and the schema conform to the W3C XML standard. MindApp xml files can be imported back into MindApp.

  • Exporting HTML outlines
        Maps can be exported to HTML
            

        The exported HTML can be read into Word
            

  • Importing FreeMind files
    You can import FreeMind 0.8.0 maps into MindApp.

How to tell what version you're running.

 MindApp's version and build numbers are displayed in the About dialog box. Choose Help / About MindApp... from MindApp's menu bar.
